Here’s my story...

My body broke too.

I started yoga at 21. By 30 my body was already breaking down. By 32 I had fibromyalgia and was on 10 medications. Then came perimenopause, a rebuilt shoulder, and 20 years of forcing my body into poses it wasn't ready for. The result was chronic, debilitating pain.

Here is how I saved myself.

When a surgeon told me he wanted to operate on my lower back but couldn't guarantee any relief, I made a decision. I went back to yoga but not the yoga I had practiced for 20 years. I started experimenting on my own body and discovered something that changed everything:

Pain is most often a strength problem. Not a flexibility problem.

When I stopped chasing flexibility and started building strength the hip pain went away. The back pain went away. The fibromyalgia that had me on 10 medications became mostly gone. I came off every single one.

Two previously broken wrists. They don't hurt. A shoulder ripped from its socket in a car accident. I came back. Fully.

Menopause. I came out the other side with a body I actually love.

Flexibility is not a gift. It is a result. And it is not even the point. The point is moving without pain. Feeling strong. Waking up and not dreading your body.

That is what I teach. And I can help you.

Why Learn From Me?

Life Experience

I have lived what I teach. Two broken wrists. Gluteal tendinopathy that had me bent at 90 degrees. A shoulder rebuilt after a car accident. Fibromyalgia that required 10 medications. Menopause. All of it — gone. I am living proof that pain is not a life sentence.

Professional Knowledge

38 years of practice. 13,000 hours of teaching. I am not a weekend-certified instructor following a script. I have spent nearly four decades studying, practicing, and refining what actually works — and 15 years passing that knowledge to students.

Diverse Yoga Classes

I teach strength, not performance. Most yoga culture is built around flexibility, aesthetics, and poses that look impressive. My primary goal is how does it help not how it looks.  Every class I teach is built on one principle — pain is most often a strength problem, not a flexibility problem.

Coach Mindset

I teach women who are ready. Women who are done being handed generic routines that were never designed for their body. Women who want intelligent movement from a teacher who has been exactly where they are. Women who are ready to feel strong again.
